Cisco VPN Client Error 51 Unable to communicate with the VPN subsystem

Cisco VPN Client Error 51

is common one and today, one of my network user call me today and show me below error and ask the solution. There were Cisco VPN client installed & Cisco AnyConnect Client installed on user system but it was not an issue.

Please make sure that you have at least one network interface that is currently active and has an IP address and start this application again.

 Solution :

  1. Click on Start > Run > Type Services.msc
  2. Scroll Down and locate "Cisco VPN Client Service"
  3. Restart "Cisco VPN Cleint" Service
  4. Check you Cisco VPN Client must be able to connect now.
  5. If this fails, please restart your Computer.
