Solution Discussion:-

I come to know that this error comes when incorrect HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) is configure on Hyper-V VMs, as per;

Just do any of these to solve this issue;

1. To restart VMMS using the Service Manager:

2. In the Hyper-V Manager click the server on which you want to stop the service, then click Action, then click Stop Service.

3. Click Action, and then click Start Service. (if you are unable to get this option, once click on blank space on console menu, where Roles > server name etc are)

This option also can be get by right click on Server Name

1. To restart VMMS using PowerShell:

2. On the computer that has the stopped service, open a command prompt as local administrator and type the following:

C:\PS>restart-service vmms

[av_image src='http://www.ipaddresshost.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/restart-service-vmms-powershell.png' attachment='' attachment_size='' align='center' animation='no-animation' link='lightbox' target='' styling='' caption='' font_size='' appearance=''][/av_image]

If you are not easy to use Windows PowerShell, you have the  option to use Command Prompt for this purpose,
