It was recommended to re-install Visual Studio 2013 and delete some of the files from different locations but I fix this issue with below mentioned solution and believe it will help you as well. If it helps you as well, please leave a message or do let me know to update any of your suggested solution for the next reader.

Solution 1:

  1. Click on Start Menu
  2. Navigate to All Programs (for Windows 7 or older | for Windows 8 & Windows 8.1 please either search for “Developer Command Prompt for VSxx”)
  3. Type devenv /resetuserdata for Visual Studio Premium / Ultimate Edition to reset user data
  4. Type WDExpress /resetuserdata for Visual Studio Express 2013 for Desktop to reset user data

After this, Start Visual Studio 2013 and it will ask you again for login. It will required few minutes, sit with patience and your Visual Studio will start working.
